Second Year Portfolio Elements
Second year portfolio is very basic, all of our projects were team based where we mainly had to formally present our ideas or produce group reports. The images below showcase some of the portfolio pages. The idea behind the layout was a vintage suitcase where I can hide my ideas and scrap notes.
Third and 4th image represents my own business card and the inspirations behind it. I have chosen bright colours to represent my bubbly personality and combined it with simple, clear font to show that I'm still well organised and responsible individual.
The 5th and 6th image represents "Taste of Morgaine" project where in teams we had to design a business card for one of our tutors, we had to research their interests, hobbies, aspirations etc. Reflecting Morgaine's interests into Moroccan and Nutricious foods we have chosen patterns that would represent those cultures combining them with Morgaine's favorite colours. Out of 4 other teams she has chosen our design as her favorite..win!
The Barbour project you can see above was a live team project. We had to improve brand identity and suggest improvements to their online presence. After compiling research we have identified that Barbour have been forgetting about their female consumers and aimed our project towards that market. We have come up with innovative and user friendly website design. Barbour has liked our ideas and used them in their campaigns/stores.
The Closely Held Secrets poster was a summer project, the idea of the exhibition was the progress in Digital Embroidery.
